Omg, so bitchy.
I understand it if girls are being bitchy and emo and all. But I cannot forgive guys who do that. Yes, yes, we’re all mere humans with emotions and thoughts. But, seriously, guys are bound by the sacred oath of brotherhood not to be bitchy. I kid you not. That is my ideal anyway, if anything.
So, what happened was, I made a quick trip to Lowyat to get a graphics card. Because all alive and dead know that my display sucks and my comp crashes when I attempt to play games. Since, it was a last-minute decision, I did not do my homework. I have no inkling of what type of slot my motherboard has and what type of graphics card to get. I just now that it shouldn’t cost me more than 150MYR.
So, I scouted and made my choice either to buy at Jayacom or Thundermatch. Simply because they offer the best prices and choices. I first stopped at Jayacom and the salesperson was very nice, very polite. I asked him alot of questions, though he’s not sure about some of it, I can see that he’s trying his best to explain it to me. And I wasn’t sure what type of motherboard i’m having. Apparently, just the code of the motherboard is not sufficient. At last, he gave me time to think about it and I left.
After that, I went over to Thunder Match and oh, I tell you, the bitchiness started straight away. The counter was manned by a man-bitch. Twenty-ish, hair dyed with golden streaks, emo glasses, and to complete the whole look, an all-time sullen face. To put it simply, he’s an ‘ah-lian’. Oops, I mean, ‘Ah-beng’. Of the Lala-Clan. So, I asked him about this and that. I got mostly short answers. Fine, no biggie. After deciding to get a particular card, I wanted to check whether everything is fine and all. So, what I found was, the package was opened with the seal torn. I dunno, how they work, maybe it’s normal to have packaging seals torn when one buys stuff at Lowyat or something. So, you must forgive me when I requested for a new pack. No, what I got was a sulky face grabbing the next box on the rack and casually thrown to me on the table. Again, no biggie, so being a noob, I made the mistake of saying ‘Oh, this is also opened before…..*looks at him*’. He shot me back a look, took the box, typed something with his keyboard, and threw the thing back at me. Without saying a word.
Then, at that very moment. I decided, I should be pissed. This is not the way to treat a customer, even though I’m only buying a something of a simple graphics card from you. So I handed him the pack and left, keeping my cool.
Tell me, after all this, between Jayacom and Thunder Match, which shop would you choose? Me, I would gladly pay Jayacom twice the amount for the same card, after all this.
What a bitch.
So, yeah, you guessed it, I went back to Jayacom and bought a card without much hesitation or haggling of price.
But, that’s not the end.
After arriving home, I tried installing it, it turned out to be not compatible, so I had to make another trip back because I am not free this coming week. Oh, the horror of KL traffic!!
So, I found the same salesman and the guy ‘gau-tim’-ed the whole thing in no time, it turns out, my computer was like obsolete and the most suitable card they have is one of 32Mb and 32-bit. I took it without complain. And due to their policy of not paying back if the product swapped is of lower value, I had to buy an original canon black ink-cartridge. Again, I have no complaints. He was a nice chap.
Now, imagine I had to go back to that ah-beng.
Oh, I shouldn’t think of it. I dare not. *cringe*
aww, poor gal, i feel your pain…stupid sale ppl thinking they are so great and treat customers badly, hehehehehe. good thing you found a nice sales person.

We should give back a taste of their own medicine. We malaysian consumers tend to just keep quiet and walk off. We should confront these bitchy sales staff. Tell them if they’re not interested to service customers, please resign. Work in a job where you don’t have to meet people like road sweeping etc.
Tell them, “Hello, I’m not asking it for free! I’m BUYING it, okay!”
Tell them, “How come they employ people like you here? You got no standard at all. You’re not fit to work here.”
Of course some of the bitches will pretend not to hear you. But you can be assured that it hurts them.
If you create a ruckus, you help the next customer who comes along. These bitches will be on guard. We have the right to get good service. If you can’t give good service, why are you in business?
