Not Fun Anymore

… get good grades, get a good job, be in the upper rung of the society and fucking vote wisely. Or emigrate–damn, I hope I don’t have to resort to this, there’s no Nasi Lemak elsewhere in the world.

Okay, “fucking vote wisely” means doing a research on your choice of representatives, talk to ppl at mamak stalls and educate others if not too lazy.

Because from what I see now, it is going nowhere. Maybe it is better to have an autocratic-democratic rule with a dash of communism. Only, if only, it is led by sort of an evil genius hippie, without the weed-smoking.

Oh, but why the sudden cynicism?

Because, there are people saying shitload of things about freedom of speech being restricted, here. Read the comments written if you’re not too busy. The arguments are pretty good, about why there should be protests and other stuff.

But I still don’t think protests are not good for the country, temporary disturbance for a better future or not. Other than that, freedom of speech, I agree, kinda sucks over here. But everybody knows the dailies are suxors and that about the only reliable thing is The Sun and the internet(*gasp!*). But too much freedom isn’t a good thing either right? And I don’t think the rein here is held THAT tightly. Much more importantly, if we really get down and dirty to “overthrow” this government, who is gonna lead?

I’ll tell you this. Anwar Ibrahim is a hypocrite. He was the one championing against the ISA during his student days. And when he became a minister, not a beep was said against it. And then you would argue that if Mahathir fucked him over, he must have some sort of good thing going on right? But the truth is, if he’s THAT powerful, he couldn’t be brought down so easily, by a sodomy charge some more (shame, shame–A political figure can’t be as kinky as to forget the golden rule to NEVER do something that might be used against, right? So this charge was never true, I guess. But still, THE Karpal Singh could not win). And now, he’s stirring more shit for the country by handing in some video about some judicial shit. Wan Azizah ah? Sien… like she can lead la.

Can I have better choices?

Maybe urmm… somebody like this guy. Read until the the end, because you have to judge whether the guy is very patriotic or downright crazy.
