Heartbreaking innit? Eventhough half the time I can’t grasp wth he was singing about. But it is heartbreaking to hear somebody singing while crying. Wait, he’s not crying? No way… he sounds like … a gayfuck someone being dumped, after a long, tearful fight.

Heartbreaking. And I love his songs.

So I’m down with fever, nausea and stomachache. I have stomachache because I’m bloody starving and my stomach is bloody digesting itself. Unfortunately, when I down any food, they come right back up because of the nausea. And I’m fucking dizzy like, all my time of being awake. So I slept, the whole bloody day… until I’ve developed a heavy head. Well, it sucks. I’m whining here… whining… because I can’t whine in real life… because I told myself that whining will do me no good and that I should cut down on it starting this year. Oh, hei Phoebs, that’s good news to you =D

Anyway, loads of homework to be done, but I’m not in the right state to start anything =D I wish being sick would get me out of work sometimes, but I hate to appear to be weak and incompetent… oh, laziness does not count as incompetent. Because I sez so.

Current song that’s spinning in my hed:

Superhuman –by Chris Brown and Keri Hilson

I would embed it, but I’m bloody lazy right now. Google it if you are free and up for a good song =D

I love how their voices play with each another. Hmm… again… I cannot explain it properly… s’ry not very good in diz.

Another thing, this year, I resolve to have the patience to explain things to others, no matter how bloody annoying it is to me. Patience makes a man… patience… patience…. If you know me well enough, you would know that I have zero tolerance towards careful selection of words to fully transpire what I meant when I say certain somethings. I have always just replied “oh, nothing… nevermind”, to “what does that mean?” or “what were you trying to say?”, to save myself the trouble of explaining who the fuck is Cobra and what does he do to G.I. Joe and why doesn’t he have a face. Oh, just to name two of the many obscure references that I use. I know, I should also stop using these references on unsuspecting non-geeks. But once in a while there are ppl who knows what the hell I’m actually talking about and then… JOY!

Anyway, I feel like shit now and I have to go to sleep. What a way to start a new year. Gong Hei Fatt Choi =D

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button made me so emo.

So, u know u gotta watch it ;)

It makes me want to spend early mornings sitting, drinking hot coffee, watching the sunrise, and enjoying fucking cold winds at the pier with someone I love. Not speaking a word, just sitting still.

Every.single.morning.

You try telling me you don’t get that after watching the movie.

Oh, of course I had described the scene very crudely. Sorry, Iz not very poetical.

And it made me want to keep a journal detailing every single beautiful moment in my life. Maybe I should start =D. I guess this blog is too vulgar to be read to a dying person, anyways, maybe some ppl do appreciate honesty hahaha…

Back to work! Back to work!

I cannot tell you how much I love this song. Listen to the live version (Where the Light is). The guitar riffs are awesome. Gives me goosebumps sometimes.

Slow Dancing in a Burning Room- John Mayer

It’s not a silly little moment
It’s not the storm before the calm
This is the deep and dyin breath of
this love we’ve been workin on
Can’t seem to hold you like I want to
so I can feel you in my arms
Nobody’s gonna come and save you
we pulled too many false alarms

We’re goin down
and you can see it too
We’re goin down
and you know that we’re doomed
my dear
we’re slow dancing in a burnin room

I was the one you always dreamed of
you were the one i tried to draw
how dare you say it’s nothin to me
baby, you’re the only light I ever saw

I make the most of all the sadness
you’ll be a bitch because you can
you try to hit me just to hurt me
so you leave me feelin dirty cuz you can’t understand

We’re goin down
and you can see it too
We’re goin down
and you know that we’re doomed
my dear
we’re slow dancing in a burnin room

Go cry about it why don’t you
Go cry about it why don’t you
Go cry about it why don’t you
my dear, we’re slow dancin in a burnin room
burnin room, burnin room
don’t you think we oughta know by now
don’t you think we shoulda learned somehow
don’t you think we oughta know by now
don’t you think we shoulda learned somehow
don’t you think we oughta know by now
don’t you think we shoulda learned somehow
don’t you think we shoulda learned somehow
don’t you think we shoulda learned somehow
don’t you think we shoulda learned somehow
don’t you think we shoulda learned somehow

I actually have loads of homework to finish up. It’s daunting. I don’t want to screw up my last semester.

Gassy… that’s what all those Korean Kimchi do to you. They make you gassy. Not to mention how bloody awful lot of garlic they stuff their food with. At one point I was eating a whole chunk of it in a wrap. Kill me now, cos I have no bloody idea what their names are. But the meat was good. Albeit pricey. But good, I like things done properly. =D

Daorae is awesome. And so is the price. (Iz student afterall)

You know… I’ve been wanting to get this set of books –The Gulag Archipelago. But the price is… an obstacle. Three books, costing RM80++ each. And I have to think of an occasion, to give myself such a treat.

If you are wondering why do I do the weirdest things and read the weirdest books or reward myself with the most morbid materials out there?

I have no answer to it.

Maybe it has something to do with me being cynic, sadistic, machiavellic  or maybe I’m just a goth/emo wannabe. But the best books I’ve ever read when I was a kid was about war experiences, and I can never put them down. ‘Boy’ and ‘Going Solo’ by Roald Dahl were awesome reads, proven by the fact that I can remember their titles. And then there were others in many other countries including Malaysia(in BM, something about ‘leftenan Adnan’ especially) –these, I have no recollection of their titles and storyline but I remember that I enjoyed every single bit. Or maybe it’s just that the writers who had gone through life the hard way gain insights to life that no one else can ever give.

You know what is boring?

Harry Potter.

Somebody buy me that set already!!!

I’m stuck with Anna Karenina. And a whole truckload of homework… blergh

Child elopers’ Africa plan foiled

Anna-Lena (c) and Mika

The three were trying to travel without passports or money

Two German children – aged five and six – have been stopped by police from eloping to Africa to tie the knot in the sun, reports say.

The budding lovebirds, identified as Mika and Anna-Lena, packed bathing costumes, sunglasses and a lilo and headed for the airport.

They even had the presence of mind to invite along an official witness – Anna-Lena’s seven-year-old sister.

The three got as far as Hanover railway station before police intervened.

The young couple were “very much in love” and had decided to get married in Africa “where it is warm”, police spokesman Holger Jureczko told the AFP news agency.

Sun-seekers

The idea for the getaway wedding was born as the children’s families celebrated New Year’s eve together and Mika regaled the two girls with stories of a recent holiday to Italy.

They can still put their plan into action at a later date
Holger Jureczko
Hanover police spokesman

The following morning, as their parents slept, the intrepid trio walked 1km (0.6 miles) to the local tram station at Langenhagen, where they hopped aboard a tram for Hanover central station.

But the group aroused the suspicion of a guard as they waited for a train to the airport, and police were called in.

Officers persuaded the children they would not get far without tickets and money, but consoled them with a free tour of the police station, where they were shortly picked up by relieved parents.

Although any marriage plans have been put on hold for now, police did not altogether rule out the possibility of an African wedding.

“They can still put their plan into action at a later date,” AFP quoted the spokesman as saying.

Seriously, where EXACTLY in Africa?

But I’m amazed, very amazed, by their audacity. I wish I had half of it. But not to elope laaa… =.=
